TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

Tab Trade - What It Is

TabTrade.com launched in Q1 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection matters. It says the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. It is preferable to a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities prime brokers run on. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.

Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker this new, that range is solid.

Platforms

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but requires the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That should make the platform set when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade does not.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not relevant to typical accounts. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

The speed is the area where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform quote a much wider range.

Does this affect you? If you scalp, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. But the fact that the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Combine those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering holds up. Not many platforms in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

The FSRA Question

This is the thing that matters. TabTrade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It should inform how you think about it.

The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that works depends on you.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade has bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Typical welcome offer. You deposit, TabTrade add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before funding.
